What a great sum-up of Glentress and Inners. and yes, that wee drop-off is scarier in real life, especially if there's a big puddle of mud at the bottom.. If I've read that correctly you did Inners descent from 34 to 40 - some of the best bit :) At least you missed out the horrible horrible steep climbs which are littered with giant rocky steps. Although next time you need to do Caddon bank and the 'black grade optional features'! That was brilliant! If you are looking for green/blue trails that are more than just fireroads I can heartily recommend the one at Brechfa if you are ever over that way. Rocks...I just find them terrifying, although when I eventually went over the rock gardens at Glentress I thought, "Is that it?!"
